AIX ROSE at OUT100 Awards
Recently, I had the chance to photograph at the Out 100 Awards in Hollywood. Although Hollywood parties aren’t usually my scene, I always find joy in capturing the energy of these events. The atmosphere was lively. The music was loud, and people filled the space with excitement.
AIX Rosé, a sponsor of the event, was the focus of my work. This French wine comes from Provence and has a fresh taste. It features red berries, with hints of melon and grapefruit. We set up a couple of tasting stations for guests to enjoy.
Kirstin & Kevin - Sunset Cliffs, San Diego, CA
San Diego holds a special place in my heart. The city has some of the best Italian and Mexican food in the state. Every visit reveals new tastes and favorites. But it’s not just the food; the views are incredible, too.
One of my favorite spots is Sunset Cliffs. The coastal scenery is stunning. Even on cloudy days, like the one I experienced during an engagement shoot with Kirstin and Kevin, the place has a unique charm.
Michelle, Kenny & Jaxson at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens
Some photo sessions start off smooth. Others make you think on your feet. This one was both.
The Dallas Arboretum was packed—I’m talking full parking lots, long lines, people everywhere. Instead of forcing photos in crowded spots, we took our time and searched for open pockets of space where the family could relax, move, and just be themselves. The Arboretum has plenty of hidden corners if you know where to look, and that challenge actually made the session more fun.
2025 Walk for Hope - Duarte, CA
There’s something special about photographing events that are rooted in purpose. This past weekend, I had the opportunity to document the 2025 Walk for Hope at City of Hope in Duarte, California — an annual gathering that turns compassion into action. Thousands of people came together under clear blue skies, walking side by side for one goal: to help end cancer for everyone.
Yosemite National Park
What fortuitous timing to hit up one of the most iconic national parks right before the government shut down. My wife, two friends, and I spent two amazing days in Yosemite National Park. It was my first visit, and it truly exceeded my expectations, probably because I did little to no research heading in (I was just the driver). But as soon as we entered the valley, I was blown away by the views. The granite cliffs towered above us, while golden light streamed through the trees. The vast, open sky seemed to go on forever. It was easy to see why this place is a favorite for hikers and photographers.
The 2025 Susan G. Komen 3-Day New England
The 2025 Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk kicked off its second event of the season in Boston, and as someone who grew up here, it’s always a special experience to return home with my camera in hand. Over the course of the walk, participants covered miles of iconic Boston streets, creating inspiring and unforgettable moments.
The 2025 Susan G. Komen 3-Day Denver
Being the photographer for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. For more than 10 years, I’ve had the honor of documenting nearly 50 walks across the country, and every event reminds me why I keep coming back—the people are inspiring, the stories are powerful, and the laughs are endless. At this point, it feels like summer camp, getting to see old friends and meet new ones.
Stephanie and Helen
One of the things I love most about being a destination wedding photographer is traveling to new places and capturing love stories in unique settings. Recently, I had the honor of photographing Stephanie and Helen at the beautiful Aria Hotel in Las Vegas. Their styled shoot was especially meaningful because they had just gotten married after being together for many years—a true celebration of lasting love.
Courtney and Andy
As a wedding photographer who’s new to the Bay Area, photographing Courtney and Andy’s wedding reception at the Presidio Officer’s Club was such an exciting experience. The historic architecture of the Officer’s Club provided a timeless backdrop, and the surrounding scenery—including iconic views of the Golden Gate Bridge—added a unique and unforgettable touch to the day.
Katie, Alex, and Gigi
One of my favorite things about capturing families in Huntington Beach is how each session is a unique blend of love and laughter. Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Katie, Alex, and their adorable little one, Gigi, at a local park. From the moment they arrived, I just knew we were in for a magical afternoon.
2024 Boston Celtics Championship Parade
There is a special joy that comes from being part of something big. For me, it was the moment the Boston Celtics closed out game 6 against the Mavericks. They won the championship, and instantly, excitement surged through me. I felt like a kid again. I remembered all the years of heartbreak and hope, from the Larry Bird days to losing Reggie Lewis. It has been a long journey as a Celtics fan, filled with ups and downs.
Jackie and Austin
It’s always a joy to capture couples in unique and beautiful settings, and Jackie and Austin’s wedding in Orange County, California was no exception. Their day was split between the serene natural beauty of Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim for the ceremony and the elegant charm of The Villa in Orange for their reception—creating a perfect blend of outdoor tranquility and refined celebration.
Cassie and Geoffrey
Oh man, I just had one of those awesome days that reminds me why I love capturing weddings! Cassie and Geoffrey tied the knot at the Newland Barn in Huntington Beach, and let me tell you, it was such a laid-back and joyful celebration. The venue has this cozy charm with its rustic barn vibe and a spacious outdoor lawn that really kicked off the festive mood right from the start. The sun was shining beautifully, leaving everyone feeling relaxed and ready to have a good time as they mingled in the open air. Nothing stuffy about it, just genuinely great vibes!
